Leigh Ann Harris, Office Manager

I attended Central Piedmont Community College and have been in the dental field since 1994. My career in dentistry began by making crowns and bridges to help brighten smiles. It is a joy to see a child build trust in their dentist and staff. My husband, Jamie, and I have two beautiful girls Caitlin and Cassidi. We enjoy camping as a family.

Leigh Ann, a hard worker, is highly skilled in guiding patients with their insurance benefits, maintaining accounts and overseeing overall functions. She is described by her co-teamates as professional and detailed oriented. She is truly the “mama” of the group.

Kayla Parker – Business Agent

I was born and reared in Gaston County and Graduated from East Gaston High. I received my certificate of dental assistant and X-Ray certification from NCDATS of Charlotte. I currently reside in Iron Station with my husband Rev. Wayne Parker. I enjoy traveling, scrapbooking,and spending time with my two beautiful Cocker Spaniels Berkley and Copper.

Kayla is described as thoughtful and always a team player. You will end your visit with her where you will notice Kayla’s warm smile as she ensures your return visit is scheduled to your liking.

Sarah Crisp, Dental Hygienist

I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Central Piedmont Community College in 2009. I chose to work in Pediatric Dentistry because I enjoy working with children and special needs patients.

I married my high school sweetheart, Ryan, in June 2009. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In my free time I enjoy working on decorative projects around the house.

Sarah is described as spunky and creative. As a Colgate Oral Health Advisor, Sarah makes it her priority to ensure your child has a good experience while educating them on proper oral care. She is truly special all around.

Rachel Green, Certified Dental Assistant

I graduated from CPCC in 2006. Started in pediatric Dentistry one year after working for a general practice. The transition has been very rewarding for me. I enjoy being able to educate parents, and kids about their oral health, and the benefits of having a beautiful, healthy smile.

I am the mother of a daughter, Kyndal Alese. During my spare time I love spending time with my daughter and catching up with friends.

Rachel thrives in a fast-paced environment for she is a great initiator. She is highly proficient in all areas of dental assisting. She is one of a kind.

Chueyee Thao – Dental Assistant

My name is Chueyee “Chewy”. I attended the dental assistant program at CPCC. I am now working with a wonderful professional team here. I am married to my wife, Lily. We were married in 2008 and have been blessed to become parents of two precious girls, Lidiah and Calleigh. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, play with my girls, play video games, and volleyball. I want to thank God for blessing me with this great opportunity to work for Mountain Island Pediatric Dentistry and to be a part of a great team. I am hoping to bring healthy smiles to every child I see just like how I bring to my two princesses.

Chueyee’s great sense of humor and easy going demeanor makes him a favorite with kids and parents alike. He is truly gifted in caring for our patients.
